Revised house rules posted on NPC website

Last year, the House & Bar Committee reviewed NPC’s House Rules and recommended a series of changes to update and streamline them. The revised and restated rules were approved by the Board of Governors in January, and they are now posted on the Club’s website.

While the revisions deleted some archaic rules and language, the substance stayed essentially the same. Provisions governing the use of cellphones, video and speakerphones were added, along with the Club’s policy on under-age drinking. Numerous other minor changes were made to condense and clarify the rules as a whole.

NPC members should take a few minutes to become familiar with the rules, which also pertain to their guests in the Club.

As always, the House Rules say that “All suggestions, requests, complaints, and other matters pertaining to the Club and its administration shall be made in writing, signed by a member, to the Board of Governors, House Committee or the Club’s executive director.”
