Roast beef dinner accompanies Book Fair Nov. 18
The NPC's Reliable Source announced the menu it is planning for its Annual Book and Author Roast Beef Buffet on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 5:30 p.m.
The price of the Roast Beef Buffet is $25 for National Press Club members and $35 for nonmembers plus tax and gratitude. Reservations are encouraged because this event has sold out in the past. Ticket can be purchased by clicking here.
Soup
Beef and barley soup
Salads:
- Frisée and spinach, sugar cured cranberries, fresh mozzarella and toasted pecans
- Wedges of iceberg lettuce with blue cheese and bacon
- Steakhouse chopped salad with green goddess dressing
Entrée:
- Grilled bottom sirloin steak with tomato-almond Romesco sauce, carved to order
- Beef stroganoff with egg noodles
- Texas style dinosaur beef ribs, slow roasted with chipotles
- Non-beef eaters’ baked goat cheese filled Chile Rellenos, tomatillo sauce
Sides:
- Roasted mushroom mashed potatoes
- Parsley egg Noodles with julienne carrots, zucchini and yellow squash
- Fried Brussels sprouts and roasted cauliflower with capers and raisins
