Scholarship Committee seeks judges for Zimmerman award

The Scholarship Committee needs your help! We will judge applications for the Zimmerman Award on Saturday, April 30, at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. virtually via Zoom. Participants will have the chance to review application materials during the week before Saturday’s meeting.

The Richard G. Zimmerman Scholarship is a $5,000 grant to help an incoming college freshman pursue journalism. These awards have been life-changing for past recipients, and you can be a part of that experience by helping review the terrific entries we have received.
