Social Media Strategies at Half-Day Conference, 8:30 am Oct. 1; Discount for Members

The latest techniques and technologies in digital and social PR will be the subject of a half-day conference at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, in the Holeman Lounge. The cost is $155 for members and $185 for non-members.

Panelists, representing organizations including Fortune 500 companies, public relations agencies, trade associations and the U.S. government, will discuss their experiences with social media.

The "Get PR Smart" conference will include two panels: “Spread the Word” and “Manage the Word.” In the first panel, industry experts will explain how to leverage social media to expand the reach of your message to engage more stakeholders. During the second panel, the discussion will center on being both proactive and reactive in monitoring effectively and responding appropriately to questions and comments in an age of instant communication.
