Take a photo with Pooh Bear at Kids Night in the Reliable Source, Jan. 18

To celebrate author A. A. Milne’s birthday, the National Press Club's Reliable Source restaurant will host a Kids Night Thursday, Jan. 18, honoring Winnie the Pooh Day with a buffet fit for the Hundred Acre Wood - including an appearance by Pooh Bear himself.

The buffet will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with Pooh being present from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. A photographer will be on hand to capture the spirit of the night

Member tickets are $24; non-members $28; all children 10 years old and younger cost $10.

The full menu will feature Pooh’s precious “Hunny,” Piglet’s beloved Haycorns and Christopher Robin’s birthday cake. Children of all ages can feast on an eclectic menu of chicken, lamb, acorn squash, mac & cheese, salads and desserts -- all tied to everyone’s favorite characters.

Club members are encouraged to invite their children and grandchildren to this event. Buffet prices for youngsters are reasonably priced, with an added bonus:any child 10 years old or younger who comes to the dinner with a stuffed Pooh, Piglet, Kanga, Roo, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl or Tigger--or in costume-- will eat for free!

Memorable Pooh and friends cartoons will be shown throughout the restaurant.
