Three NPC members share Dirksen Award

Three National Press Club members - Alison Fitzgerald, Kristin Jensen and former NPC President Jonathan D. Salant - were among the team of Bloomberg News reporters sharing the National Press Foundation's Dirksen Award for Distinguished Coverage of Congress.

The reporters won the award for their investigation of outside group spending in the 2010 elections, in which millions of dollars were spent by organizations that didn't disclose their donors and often didn't disclose their spending either.
