Today is deadline for requesting absentee ballot to vote in Club election

Today (Friday, Dec. 4) is the last day members can request absentee ballots to vote in the Club’s annual election of officers and members of the Board of Governors.

Requests for absentee ballots must be placed in writing. To request an absentee ballot, submit an email to [email protected] or by post, addressed to the National Press Club’s Membership Department.

Please request that the absentee ballot be mailed to your home address. The ballot cannot be mailed to a business address.

Online voting opened on Nov. 30 and concludes at 3 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 10. Members can cast an online vote via computer, mobile device or tablet. The Membership Department will also have a computer available in the General Offices, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. if you would like staff assistance.

Members can vote in person at the National Press Club’s 14th floor alcove on Election Day, Friday, Dec. 11, starting at 8 a.m. EST and ending at 7 p.m. EST. Results will be announced later that evening, once the final votes are counted.
