Today: Lincoln Project co-founders to discuss political strategy in the final month of presidential race

Republican political strategists Steve Schmidt and Rick Wilson, co-founders of The Lincoln Project, will discuss the 2020 presidential election and their efforts to defeat President Donald Trump and GOP U.S. senators at a virtual National Press Club Headliners Newsmaker at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24.

Schmidt, Wilson, George Conway, and several other Republicans formed the Lincoln Project political action committee in late 2019 with the goal of preventing Trump's re-election and ousting his Senate supporters. 

The one-hour program is free to both the media and members of the general public.
