Tonight: Jason Rezaian heads panel discussion highlighting his podcast, '544 days,' about his detention in Iran
National Press Club member Jason Rezaian will appear with other panelists at a special Club event highlighting his podcast about his detention in Iran, "544 Days," Wednesday, March 16, at 6:30 p.m.
The rescheduled live-panel discussion, sponsored by Crooked Media, is expected to feature select clips from the podcast with reactions, reflections, and in-depth context from participants including Rezaian, a Washington Post reporter, and his mother, Mary Rezaian, who appears on the podcast and spent time in Iran during her son's detainment. Also slated to the panel is the editor of "544 Days," Alison MacAdam, formerly with National Public Radio, where she won a Peabody Award.
