Tony Horton Discusses Obesity, Leads Exercise Class 1 pm July 16

Tony Horton, fitness trainer and creator of the P90X Extreme Home Fitness system, will address the national obesity epidemic and its effect on military recruits and members of the U.S. armed forces at a "boot camp" luncheon at 1 p.m. Friday, July 16.

Horton will discuss the trend of "functional fitness," a comprehensive approach to physical training he's using to help service members adapt to the demands of modern warfare.

Space is limited. Attendees should  wear gym clothes. As part of the program, the audience will be invited to join in the P90X demonstration workout that Horton has developed for U.S. troops.

A sit-down luncheon will not be served.  Boxed take-home llunches and bottled water will be distributed at program's conclusion.

A reception for NPC members who purchased tickets is at 12:30 p.m.
