Top Random House editor to share writing tips and tools, March 10

Calling all language lovers, grammar geeks and bibliophiles: Join Benjamin Dreyer, Random House executive managing editor and copy chief, and author of the New York Times bestseller Dreyer's English, for a rousing behind-the-editor’s desk viewpoint on sharpening your writing and elevating your use of language.

Registration is open to seasoned and aspiring authors, journalists, communicators and students interested in improving their craft. This program is being produced by the National Press Club Journalism Institute in coordination with the NPC Freelance Team. 

In his role at Random House, Dreyer has copyedited books by authors including E. L. Doctorow, Frank Rich and Elizabeth Strout, as well as Let Me Tell You, a volume of previously uncollected work by Shirley Jackson. He lives in New York City.

His book, Dreyer's English, is available in paperback from Penguin Random House. He’s written an adaptation for young readers, as well as created the “Stet! Dreyer’s English” card game.
