Want to learn more about reporting on mental health?

The National Press Foundation is offering a four-day boot camp on mental health, including diagnosis and intervention; developments in treatment and research; economic impact; demographics; mental health legislation and public policy reforms; successful models in crisis intervention training for law enforcement; and community-based care.

We’ll look at best practices for reporting on mental illness, including crimes involving the mentally ill. This all-expenses-paid journalist training is Sept. 18-21 in Washington.
