Update-1 remembers James Foley nine years after his death

In August 2014, ISIS murdered James Foley, a young videographer and journalist with GlobalPost who was covering the conflict in Syria. The terrorist group held him hostage for two years before beheading him, brutally recording the killing on video.

As a tribute to him, his parents Diane and John Foley started the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation to “advocate for the freedom of all Americans held hostage” and wrongfully detained.
