Visiting the Club? Reserve a few minutes to set up your access app or fob

The new security gates are active.

Resident members, next time you're at the National Press Club, please come by the offices to see a member of the NPC membership staff to set up your permanent Club access.

To set up permanent access, here is what you need to do:
1) Bring your National Press Club membership card with your 2017 sticker and a photo ID
2)The National Press Club staff will issue a security fob or help you download an app to your smartphone. Either option will allow you to move through the gates freely every time you come to the Club.

At this time we are enrolling only resident members. Watch The Wire for information for non-resident members.

For resident members who choose the smartphone app, the staff will need to enter in your cell phone number and wireless carrier provider in the security system to provide access. NPC staff will provide further instructions during the initial set up process.

This is a good opportunity to ensure the Membership office has your most up-to-date information on file, as well as double check your information in your profile in the online membership directory at www.press.org. We look forward to working with you and make this process as smooth as possible.

We are very excited that the National Press Club will now be a more secure facility, improving the value of your membership and offering more protection for our members, guests and staff. This is long-overdue improvement and we hope that you will welcome changes that will help make the National Press Club even better than it already is.
