Want your family to give thanks to you for Thanksgiving? Our chef can help

Susan Delbert, the club's executive chef, is happy to offer some cooking tips for members and their families preparing Thanksgiving dinner, or bringing a side dish to someone else's home.

Gravy-making advice, jaw-dropping side dishes or desserts and even some tips on cooking turkey can be yours by contacting the chef at [email protected] or 662-7514. She will try to respond within 24 hours but can't answer questions submitted after noon on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Among the recipes that are yours for the asking: the world’s best cornbread, candied yams or sweet potatoes, jelled cranberry and walnut relish, warm whole cranberry relish, turkey stuffing, Brussels sprouts polonaise, oyster pudding, simple pecan pie, butternut squash soup, and vegetarian stuffed acorn squash.
