Washington Post Magazine's "Second Glance" Creator to Address Photo Committee

Randy Mays, whose feature "Second Glance" appears every Sunday in the Washington Post Magazine, will speak to the Photography Committee at noon, Wednesday, May 29, in the McClendon Room.

All Club members and their guests are welcome. No reservations are required.

Randy has titled his talk "Puzzling Illusions." Using examples drawn from past editions of "Second Glance," he will discuss why he changes the things he does and how he does it.

Randy created "Second Glance" in 2007 and has over 300 of these puzzles to date. He joined the Post's Advertising Art department in 1985.

Randy has also done illustration work for AARP Bulletin, Smithsonian Magazine, Smithsonian Air & Space Magazine, American Journalism Review, NASA and others. He retired from the Post in 2008 but continues to provide "Second Glance."
