Watch the presidential debate June 27 at the Reliable Source

Come watch the first presidential debate at the Club.

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump will debate Thursday, June 27, starting at 9 p.m., and the Reliable Source and the Truman Lounge will be open for members and their guests.

There will a buffet that night at a cost of $35 for members and $45 for nonmembers, plus tax and tip, beginning at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 9:45. The menu is as follows:

-- Salad bar

-- Meatloaf

-- Fried whiting fish

-- BBQ chicken

-- Green beans and potatoes

-- Yellow rice

-- Peach cobbler

-- Assorted cakes

There also will be special cocktails for $11 apiece -- a blue one (1 oz. vodka, 1 oz. blue curacao, 6 oz lemonade, lemon slice for garnish) and a red one (1½ oz. white rum, ¾ oz. dry vermouth, ¼  oz. orange curacao, 2 dashes grenadine).
