Weather photographer Kevin Ambrose to speak to NPC photo team, April 19

Noted weather photographer, storm chaser, and member of the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang, Kevin Ambrose, plans to give an illustrated talk to the National Press Club's Photography Team, on Wednesday, April 19, at noon in the McClendon Room.

Lunch will be available from the Reliable Source buffet. The program will begin at 12:30 p.m. The meeting is open to all Press Club members and their guests. No RSVP is necessary.

Ambrose is the author of the Post's annual "Seasons of Washington" calendar and several books, including​ Washington Weather, Blizzards and Snowstorms of Washington, D.C., Great Blizzards of New York City, Snowmageddon, and The Knickerbocker Snowstorm​. ​He ​ currently specializes in photography of Washington, D.C., snowstorms, cherry blossoms, sunrises, sunsets, and thunderstorms. He holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Virginia and currently works as an account executive for Adobe.
