Win Big at Oct. 15 Silent Auction

Come to the Fourth Estate Award Dinner on Oct. 15 and bid on:

A year of fabulous cupcakes

A night in a fabulous hotel and

A photo shoot with a fabulous photographer.

Seriously! The National Press Club's annual Silent Auction will be held at the Fourth Estate Dinner this year. Among the items up for bid:

A year-long membership in Georgetown Cupcake’s Cupcake of the Month Club. The winning bidder receives a dozen cupcakes each month for a year – pickup or delivery.

A one-night stay and breakfast for two at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington.

A photo shoot and consultation with Sky High Art (skyhighart.com) valued at $1,000. Talented wedding and events photographer Peter Stepanek will give you a three-hour photo shoot, which includes two outfit changes and photos at two to three locations near the Mall monuments.

Other items will be added in the coming weeks.

At the Fourth Estate Awards dinner, the NPC will present Bob Schieffer of CBS News with the Club's highest honor, the Fourth Estate Award.

Member ticket prices are $125, and every member can buy one guest ticket at the member price. Nonmember tickets are $175 each.
