You have only two more days to submit print and digital images for the photo show

You can now enter your best images in this year's National Press Club two photography exhibits through Friday. Entries for the print exhibit can be delivered to the Club's membership office and electronic exhibit images can be sent in by e-mail.

Both the print and electronic images will be on display in the Club's main lobby from Aug. 31 to Sept. 29. The exhibit is the Club's celebration of members' visual story-telling talent. It is not a contest. There are no judges or prizes awarded. Mark your calendars as well for the gala opening reception on Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 6:30 p.m.- 8 p.m.

You can enter your images in the print exhibit, electronic exhibit or both. Because of space limitations, members may enter up to two images in the print exhibit and a maximum of four photos in the electronic display. Entries must be taken by Club members only and not displayed in previous Club exhibits.

Entries in the print exhibit can have a maximum overall size -- print and mat -- of 11"x14". Prints must be securely mounted on sturdy board. If matting is used, it must be securely attached. More details and guidelines for the print exhibit can be found online.

The electronic exhibit is a new feature this year, and Noel St. John, the Club's photo coordinator, is accepting images. Send your photos as attachments in an e-mail message to Noel at [email protected]. In the message, please give your name, member number and telephone number. For each image sent in, give the file name, title, caption and optional keywords.

Beginning on Aug. 31, the electronic photo exhibit will be posted online and displayed in a continuous loop on big-screen monitors with the print exhibit in the Club's main lobby through Sept. 29. Details on submitting photos for the electronic exhibit are available online.
