You won't want to miss NPC Crab Fest once you see this tempting menu, July 26

By popular demand, the annual Crab Fest buffet returns to the National Press Club Thursday, July 26, starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Reliable Source.

Members and their guests are invited to enjoy the crabs at the restaurant. What a great way to celebrate the summer!

The Crab Fest costs $35 per person plus tax and gratuity for Club members, and nonmembers pay $45 per person plus tax and gratuity. To make a reservation, please call 202-662-7443 or email [email protected] Reservations are encouraged because this event has sold out in the past.

Menu


  • Hard Shell Crabs, steamed with Old Bay seasoning served with selection sauces and seasoning:

  • melted butter, Mignonette (vinegar with shallots/black pepper) and Old Bay seasoning

  • Grilled corn on the cob

  • Baked beans

  • Vegetarian Chile Rellenos, baked and stuffed with cheese, apricots and pecans; tomatillo sauce



On the Salad Bar:


  • Wedges of iceberg lettuce with blue cheese; ranch dressing; bacon available on the side

  • Coleslaw



Dessert:


  • Wedges of watermelon

  • Make your own Banana Splits or Sundae with ice cream, bananas, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce, chunk pineapple, caramel sauce, nuts and whipped cream
